Chanpreet Arora leads Viacom18’s advertiser led OTT platform – Voot. At Viacom18 Digital Ventures, Chanpreet Arora drives the AVoD business - Voot and is responsible for leading AVoD led partnerships that are key to Voot’s overall growth. With an enriching journey in the digital ecosystem, Chanpreet leads the team at Voot to grow the business further and deliver significant value to the stakeholders.

A seasoned Indian media and entertainment industry expert, Chanpreet has close to two decades of experience across strategy, revenue, partnerships and sales operations with media and digital brands. She was responsible for successfully launching VICE Media in India as its CEO. She was also responsible for launching and scaling leading international and local media brands including The New York Times, Times Internet Limited, Discovery Channel, Formula One, India and Ernst & Young in her previous roles.

She led some of the most challenging expansions and restructuring of companies in India including NDTV, Network18, Times Group, UTV, Dainik Bhaskar, Zee, and advised government bodies such as TRAI, FICCI, US India Business Council on Public Policy issues. In 2019, she completed the prestigious fellowship at the Reuters Institute for Study of Journalism at Oxford University.

Passionate about academics, she is actively associated with institutes across Europe and India. She has taught at Reuters Oxford, Stockholm School of Economics Riga, MDI Gurgaon and MICA among other institutions. She serves as a distinguished adjunct professor of UPES’s Modern School of Media and is a part of the board for their animation and gaming online school, Edge.
