Matthew Benham

Matt Benham is the Director and Country Lead for Retail at Amazon Australia. He is responsible for leading the teams that own the Retail Performance and Customer Experience for Australia. Matt has 25 years of experience in General Management, Sales and Finance Leadership, and Strategy across Australia, UK, Europe and the US with previous companies including Diageo, Coca-Cola, Bacardi and Bain & Company. He joined Amazon in 2017 in the UK before relocating home to Sydney for the last 6 years with the launch of the Australian business. During his time at Amazon, and prior to his current role, he has led teams across categories including Media, Consumables, Consumer Electronics, Softlines and Inventory Management.
