As the Senior Economist for Australia and New Zealand, Katrina leads the development and delivery of differentiated economic, financial, policy and market thought leadership for customers and Mastercard in the region.
Katrina joined Mastercard in 2025 with 14 years of experience at Moody’s Analytics having worked in different roles, most recently as Head of the Asia-Pacific economics team where she was responsible for macroeconomic research agenda for the region as well as maintenance and development of the suite of Moody’s economic solutions, including baseline and alternative scenario forecasting. Prior to Moody’s, Katrina was an analyst at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, responsible for supervising Australia’s largest pension funds.

Katrina holds a Masters in Applied Economics and Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from Macquarie University.
