With more than 20 years of experience working across the Australia, Asia, the Middle East and the United States, Lena Zak is a passionate business and product leader, specialising in customer growth and engagement, with a unique approach to product development and an in-depth understanding of the digital landscape.
As Country Manager of newly launched Amazon Business Australia, Lena leads a team dedicated to serving Aussie businesses of all sizes. Amazon Business helps make business purchasing easier and more cost effective, by leveraging Amazon’s broad selection, world-class delivery, and customer experience, while also layering in business pricing and quantity discounts, combined with dozens of B2B-only features that simplify and digitise procurement.
Prior to joining Amazon Business, Lena held multiple roles at Amazon, including as the APAC Head of Performance Marketing and Brand Partnerships. She was also part of the leadership team in Amazon's US Covid response unit. Before joining Amazon, Lena worked across Australia’s media industry, most recently as the Head of Product at the Australian Financial Review. Lena holds a BA in Media & Communications from University of NSW, and a MA in Publishing from University of Sydney.
